What is SOC 2?
The SOC 2 report, developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), is a trusted standard for protecting customer data. The audit evaluates key controls related to a system's security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
There are two types of SOC 2 reports:
- Type I: Evaluate a company's security compliance at a single time.
- Type II: Confirms a company's sustained compliance over a defined period.
OpenMeter is officially SOC 2 Type II compliant, reflecting our ongoing data protection and operational integrity dedication.
