Usage

Usage or consumption is the amount of a resource consumed by a customer over a period of time. For example, 10,000 tokens consumed over the month while using an LLM. The act of tracking usage is called metering.

Usage based pricing models charge after consumption of a resource. For example, $0.10 per 1000 tokens consumed.
