Usage

Usage or consumption is the amount of a resource consumed by a customer over a period of time. For example, 10,000 tokens consumed over the month while using an LLM. The act of tracking usage is called metering.

Usage-based pricing models charge after consumption of a resource. For example, $0.10 per 1000 tokens consumed.
